How is the mix reflecting your current music taste?
I've always been very eclectic in my musical tastes and this is reflected in my sets. Whether it is on my radio shows or in parties. But since a few years and with the emergence of the "Nu Jazz" scene, Jazz in the broad sense and more organic productions are even more present.
Who should release a new album/EP already?
The Avila Brothers !!!
They produced mainly for R&B artists (Janet Jackson, Usher, Leelah James...) but their only album 'The Mood: Soundsational', released in 2005, shows all the extent of their art with an incredible production quality.
If the mix would be a soundtrack, what (kind of) movie/video/audio-visual content would support it best?
Good question!
This is totally the kind of mix I could make on a late summer day on a blocked off street in Brooklyn with a good BBQ. Or in a park in Tokyo!
