Following the success of their first compilation, TNO has partnered with the renowned Edinburgh-based reissue label Athens of the North to compile another exquisite selection. Since 2014, Athens of the North has been a beacon for reissuing rare and funky soul, disco, and other incredible jams, thanks to the passionate efforts of label boss Euan Fryer.
'TNO Love Themes Pt. 2' features standout tracks that echo the essence of love in its many forms. Opening with 'This Is The Place' by Kansas City Express, a soulful anthem that sets the tone for the journey ahead, through the many flavors of love you can possibly imagine. Each track on this LP is a carefully selected gem from Athens of the North’s impressive catalog, making this compilation not just a compilation, but also a celebration of musical history.
